Top Social Apps Performance in Hungary in Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the performance of the top social apps in Hungary, as monitored by Sensor Tower, showcased a range of trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how these apps fared.

TikTok saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $75K in early February. Weekly downloads peaked at 27.4K at the end of December, but then experienced a gradual decline to about 15K by the end of March. Despite fluctuations, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.3M.

Facebook maintained a steady weekly active user base, averaging around 6.5M throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads showed a slight decline from 21.6K at the end of December to approximately 13.4K by the end of March. Revenue saw a general downward trend, starting at $2.7K and ending at $770 in the final week of March.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $2.5K in early March. Downloads remained relatively low but stable, with the highest being 369 in mid-March. Active users saw a slight increase, reaching 11.4K by mid-March before tapering off to 11.1K at the end of the quarter.

Jaumo Dating App: Chat & Meet showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, generally around 1K, with a peak of 1.1K at the beginning of February. Revenue peaked at $1K at the end of January, with active users fluctuating around 18K throughout the quarter.

Weekly revenue saw a high of $2.9K in early March. Active users started at 47K in late December and gradually decreased to 42.5K by the end of the quarter.
